Symphony by the Sea performs a special all-Bach program with music by Johann Sebastian Bach and his talented sons. While the senior Bach was an undisputed master of Baroque style and instrumental writing, his sons embraced newer, simpler forms that appealed to emerging tastes and the evolving musical landscape.
The afternoon will be made even more special by our guest soloists, young award-winning violinist Keila Wakao and her father, oboist Kaisuke Wakao from the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The afternoon will be capped off with a reception with complimentary refreshments and an opportunity for audience members to meet our musicians and soloists!
A “family affair” to be experienced and enjoyed. We hope to see you there!
