Join Peabody Municipal Light and Power (PMLP) staff for a fun program. Kids will learn the importance of being safe around electricity, and how to identify situations that can cause serious harm.
The “Hazzard Hamlet” simulator will demonstrate common electrical safety hazards and show how using common sense and good judgment will let us work and play safely while enjoying the benefits of electricity. A line worker will also show the protection they use when installing and repairing the equipment and lines that deliver electricity to homes and businesses around our community.
Families of all ages are welcome.
