Manchester Public Library: StoryWalk

Manchester Public Library or the Manchester Historical Museum

Children of all ages will enjoy reading, walking, moving, and having fun to two great outdoor books: Stella, Star of the Sea and Storm Whale. These great coastal stories will engage children as they walk along reading each upright sign outdoors.

Beginning at the Manchester Public Library or the Manchester Historical Museum. StoryWalks are a fun, proven way of giving the audible (parent or child reading aloud), visual, (beautifully illustrated stories and printed words), and kinesthetic (motion and movement while learning in other forms connects the brain in some truly marvelous ways!)

Children will enjoy this fun morning as part of Manchester’s programming for CAPE ANN READS, a year long celebration of pictures books use and creation in the four Cape Ann Communities: Essex, Gloucester, Manchester, and Rockport.

Please join in for this drop in, at our own pace, program, and spread the word!
