You'll learn about alternative foods for allergy sufferers and get some great recipes too! Registered dietician Katy Magoon from Hannaford Supermarkets will be making Bananas in Blankets, among other tasty snacks for you to try!
This is the third year that Hannaford has offered “FoodWorks” programs at the Children’s Museum of NH. At the upcoming Food Allergies workshop, Hannaford dietician Katy Magoon, RD, will be sharing recipes, answering questions and presenting ideas on food substitutions that can be made if a child is allergic to dairy or gluten. There will be dairy-free milks to sample, as well as gluten-free products. Katy will also be serving up two healthy snack samples: bananas in a blanket and fudgy no-bake treats.
