CraneExplorer: Coastal Holiday Crafts

Make holiday gifts with beach treasures from the Crane Wildlife Refuge in Ipswich Massachusetts

This holiday season, give a gift from the sea! Beach treasures make beautiful holiday ornaments, jewelry, and keepsakes. Join this workshop to take a beach walk to collect coastal treasures and then make some coastal crafts with our educators. Bring your own shells and beach treasures and we will provide the craft supplies and inspiration!

CraneExplorer events are educational programs and hikes for all ages. These family-friendly experiences teach kids and delight adults by exploring the wonder of our coastal habitats and the rich history of the Crane Estate. Best suited for children ages 5+.

Accessibility: The event starts with an optional beachcombing walk. The crafting portion of the event is a stationary and indoors, and ADA parking is available. Participants have the option to skip the walk and just join for the crafting. Please reach out to Val Perini for accessibility info, vperini@thetrustees.org.
