Come celebrate the City of Peabody’s first annual downtown bazaar! Sponsored by the Peabody Institute Library and the new Peabody Downtown Association, this bazarr will celebrate communtiy and the new improvements in the downtown on Main Stree and Peabody Square.

Balloon art, magic, comedy and audience participation make this a fun engaging show that kids and Minecraft fans will love! All ages are welcome.Activities include Giant Dragon creation, the Building Block Madness Torunament, a riveting Zombie Chase and the Balloon Firework Rocket extravaganza!  It all lead up to the big finale - a humungous 6-foot slime ball! Best for kids ages 3-10.

In this fun program, kids will explore how magic tricks really work. This program investigates the science behind the “magic” of several classic magic tricks. You might learn how to snatch a tablecloth without disturbing the items on top, make a balloon fireproof, and use electromagnetism to defy gravity. For the grand finale, our educator demonstrates how science can make it safe to lie down on a real bed of nails.

Get ready for an exciting and fun magic show developed especially for kids and families! Mike Bent began his career in magic at age 6, when he checked out his first magic book from the library. That book started him on the path to a lifetime love of learning, creativity and performance that literally changed his life.
