With the need for toys at an all-time high for local children, Senator Bruce Tarr and 104.9 will once again broadcast live all day from nine locations on the North Shore to collect as many toys, gift cards, and monetary donations as possible to fulfill North Shore needs. The live broadcasts are open to the public and will feature local entertainment, schools choirs and bands, great food, and a visit with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus!

During North Shore Music Theater's run of the Music Man, The Musary will be taking donations in the North Shore Music Theatre lobby during any performance. Your instruments will be given new life as they’re lent to aspiring musicians throughout the community. Every little bit goes a long way in helping spread the love of music, so any donation is much appreciated.

The Manchester Memorial PTO is gearing up for the annual "Hit the Street for Little Feet" 5K Road Race, 1M Fun Run and Family Fitness Festival. The 5k race route which goes throughout picturesque Manchester-by-the-Sea will precede the 1-mile Fun Run. Following the races, participants are invited to enjoy a community celebration with fun fitness challenges, obstacle courses, sport specific challenges, local food carts, vendors and more.

The Manchester Athletic Club will be hosting the annual Pedal to End Cancer Fundraiser on Sunday March 3, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. along with over 60 clubs throughout New England. It is a 3-hour Indoor Cycling event with an effort to raise funds towards the American Cancer Society. We are looking for participants or donations help with this fun and inspiring event! MAC hopes to raise $50,000 at our event this year to help create more birthdays!
