Want to inspire children to make a difference in the lives of kids battling a serious illness? KidzbKidz, a local nonprofit organization started by textile designer Nancy Corderman, of Needham, and ceramics businesswoman Jan Weinshanker, of Gloucester, encourages children to create artwork that is then used in the women’s designs for ceramics, T-shirts, children’s clothing and note cards. Proceeds from the sale of all KidzbKidz products are donated to Children’s Hospital Boston and CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation. As part of the company’s young entrepreneur program, middle- and high school-age children can set up their own workshops and donate their artwork.
