Now in its 31st year, this one mile road race, occurring during Newburyport's Historic Yankee Homecoming Festival, features 4 heats including a children's heat with medals for all the little finishers! Cash prizes for overall and age group winners! There will be snacks and beverages at the finish line and beer tickets for a free beer and post race viewing party at the Winner's Circle Sport's Bar post race! Proceeds to benefit Winner's Circle Running Club and Newburyport All-Sports Boosters.
The High Street Mile starts at Atkinson Common and finishes at Newburyport High School.
Projected Heat Start Times (Please be prepared to run 15 minutes prior to these estimated Start Times):
- Elite Heat: 9:00 AM: This heat is open to females with anticipated finish time of less than 6 min and males with estimated finish time of less than 5 min
