Talking a guided walking tour through the Civil War history of Newburyport!

There's a lot of history in Newburyport, and 12th generation Newburyport descendant, author and historian William Hallet has chosen to make the Civil War History of Newburyport his expertise.  Join him and his wife Elizabeth on a walking tour through Newburyport's Civil War history, following the stories of men who were sent fight and the contributions they made!

  • Tour begins and ends at 57 State Street, Newburyport
  •  Duration: 90 minutes
  • Bring water and wear comfortable shoes!
  • Tips are welcome and a portion of which will go to historic preservation.
