Engage your curious budding gardener or adventurer in our new Little Sprouts in the Garden series, a monthly themed program to connect your child with the natural world around us. During February school vacation, it’s all about birds! Join us for an interactive and hands-on hike and workshop! Take a walk through the gardens of Long Hill and learn about birds, their eco-systems, habitats, and the different types of birds around us! Then in our classroom space, participants will create their very own bird houses using sustainable and recyclable materials.
- All materials will be provided.
- This is NOT a drop off program.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Recommended for children ages 6-10.
Please dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
Refunds for this event must be requested 7 days prior to workshop. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Join us in March for our next Little Sprouts in the Garden session: a Kids Terrarium Workshop where kids will create a miniature garden or forest enclosed in its own little world while learning about plant care and fundamentals!
