The annual Powow River sunset blessing, is a long tradition to offer positive intentions and blessings to the Powow River. Families who attend the autumn equinox event find many interesting activities. Children can create a craft project, walk the labyrinth, view a vintage river post card exhibit, and enjoy refreshments from Cider Hill Farm.

The scenic Powow River flows behind the Lyman Center where it abounds with turtles, great blue herons, and osprey.
