Manchester Sailing Association

The Manchester Sailing Association teaches kids aged 8 and up how to sail.

The Manchester Sailing Association offers sailing lessons for children and adults of all ability levels. MSA is a community sailing program open to both residents and non-residents of Manchester. The program takes place at scenic Tuck's Point and on the docks of the Manchester Yacht Club, with easy access to the Manchester Harbor and surrounding waters.

The 2012 sailing season begins June 25th and ends August 17th. Students are grouped in classes by age, ability and interest. Classes are offered for children ages 8 and up (as of September 1st), as well as adults.

Most classes are offered in 4 two-week sessions, although our introductory Sea Urchin class is now being offered in 8 one-week sessions. The race teams and adult sailing classes run for the entire season, with the exception of first-year Optimist racers who may elect to race only the first half of the season.  All participants must wear a USCG certified life jacket in classes.
