NEAQ: Traveling Tidepool

New England Aquarium Tock Tank visits Lanesville Community Center in Gloucester

Do you know what a sea urchin eats, and what eats a sea urchin? The answer to that question and more is coming to a Traveling Tidepool Program at the Lanesville Community Center! Pet a sea star. Meet a lobster. Cradle a hermit crab in the palm of your hand. Adults and children can literally get their hands wet at the Edge of the Sea's traveling tidepool. Aquarium educators are present to answer questions.

This New England Aquarium program, a favorite for many years, allows participants to handle and observe a wide range of live tidal pool animals from local waters.
