Join The Trustees of Reservations on a bicycle tour of Cape Ann! This family friendly 30 mile ride around Cape Ann will hug the coastal roads filled with beautiful, scenic vistas! From the rocky shores of Halibut Point Reservation in Rockport, we'll circumnavigate the Cape Ann Island out to Coolidge Reservation in Manchester, then return to Halibut Point.
Along the way we guarantee heart-pumping hills, extraordinary views, and a unique perspective on The Trustees' long history of care and protection of some of Cape Ann's most spectacular places.
You must be comfortable riding steady at a moderate pace of 10-12 mph with some steep uphills and fast descents. We expect to be riding for 3.5 hours. Bring your own bike or let us know and we'll suggest a discount at a local bike rental. Helmet and water bottle required. Bring your own picnic lunch or buy at a local food specialty cafe. There will be six significant scenic (rest) stops.
