CAM: Cape Ann Reads with Eric Carle Picture Book Art

This CAM Kids Celebration will focus on author & illustrator Eric Carle

The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art will be offering workshops for children and adults to kick-off the new Cape Ann Reads initiative. This program will take place at the Cape Ann Museum and is free and open to the public. Space is limited; reservations are required.

Interactive Storytime for Toddlers and Preschoolers

10:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Interactive Storytime for Toddlers and Preschoolers

11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Interactive Storytime followed by Art-making for K–2 students

1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Whole Book Approach Professional Development Workshop

Cape Ann Reads is a collaborative effort between the Cape Ann Museum, Sawyer Free Library, Manchester-by-the-Sea Public Library, TOHP Burnham Public Library and Rockport Public Library to offer a year of free picture book themed workshops for families and adults to encourage community creativity, regional collaboration and family literacy through picture books.
