Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 5 for a morning of interactive educational fun at the Brookwood School Tech-Know Faire. Free and open to the public, this family-fun event for kids ages 4 to 14 will feature a variety of hands-on and educational activities.
Projects and exhibitions at the November 5 Tech-Know Faire include:
- Create an LED Flashlight - participants will construct and take home their own LED flashlight
- 3-D Printing - Brookwood's Grade 6 Design GIRLZ club will have on display a variety of original 3-D creations used to solve real-life problems.
- Microbes from the Soil -- a collaborative exhibit between Brookwood's science teacher CJ Bell and Endicott College biotech students
- Maker Construction Booth -- Brookwood Science teacher Ben Wildrick will teach a variety of fundamental tinkering skills. Participants will use hammers, clamps and other construction tools.
- Young Inventor Project Space - featuring original hands-on projects by Brookwood Lower School students specially designed for students up through age 10.
