Join Bright Horizons at Beverly Cummings Center in their new Art Studio as Art Teacher, Miss Jennifer, leads your child in creating their very own piece of abstract art inspired by artist Jackson Pollock. This hands-on activity offers children experience with color blending, creative process and expression and a lesson in art history. Using a “blow painting” technique, children will blow water color paint onto canvas through straws to create their very own unique piece of abstract art.
RSVP to 978-922-4252 by Monday June 25, 2012. Limit of 10 children, ages 2 -6. Class is FREE and open to the community. Pizza and refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m. with art to follow at 5:45 p.m.
