Come to Beverly to Race for a great cause! All race proceeds benefit Pete's Park in Beverly named in honor of Pete Frates. The purpose of the race is to raise money for a lasting maintenance fund for Pete's Park, an inclusive, accessible park in Pete's hometown of Beverly, MA. Pete is an internationally known advocate for ALS awareness and education. And, for raising funds to #strikeoutals with the ice bucket challenge.
Trunk or Treat is a fun and safe way for families and children to enjoy Halloween! Trunk or Treaters will spend the evening going from trunk to trunk, collecting candy from vehicle owners who have decorated their vehicles to serve as the backdrop for this family friendly event. "Trunkers" are asked to decorate their trunk, tailgate, or hatchback and to provide candy to the "Treaters." Trunker registration is FREE, as is Treater participation. We will accept donations of candy from everyone! Prizes for the most festive vehicles! Rain or shine!

Welcome Autumn with a Colorful Pumpkin Made by You
Celebrate Autumn with this fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of felting. The workshop is for all skill levels. Elizabeth Stubbs, a Waldorf early childhood teacher and artist, will teach us needle felting. Everyone will bring home a handmade pumpkin. $40 workshop fee includes instruction and materials. Spend time with old friends and new, enjoy good conversation and a delightful breakfast snack.

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm is pleased to announce registration is open for the Homeschool Program on our beautiful Beverly, Massachusetts campus.
Waldorf School at Moraine Farm invites us for an evening of water coloring, appetizers and wine on Maraine Farm in the Great Hall. Painting scene of a New England Fall evening, will be led by Branigan Reed.
The event is organized by Heidi Zohn on behalf of the development committee. $40 includes canvas and complimentary food and beverage. All proceeds benefit Waldorf School at Moraine Farm.
A class for parents with newborns up to age 6 months. Topics covered in class include: developmental stages in babies, warmth and how to dress your baby, sleep, rhythm, foundational senses (sense of touch, well being/life, movement, balance), observation, babywearing, new identity as a parent, nursing, lullabies, and rhythmic games.
5-week program meets on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
Come to this fun storytime, music and movement playgroup at the library. Free for all families with children birth and up. No registration required. Vered is an award winning musician who brings the joys and intricacies of family life to music. Her show is fun, funny, gets everyone singing along, and sometimes will even have parents shedding an emotional tear. Inspired by her experience as a music therapist and psychotherapist, and her experience as a mom of three, Vered approaches relationships in the family with wonder, curiosity, and humor. Her music is reminiscent of a Doo-Wop band, using playful vocal harmonies, lively horns, pots and pans, and beatboxing to get everyone jumping and singing along. Vered’s albums Good Morning My Love, Hello My Baby, and Songs for Sisters and Brothers all received prestigious awards. Inspired by The Greatest Showman’s title song, Voices of Hope’s Fall Gala, A Million Dreamswill draw on the stories of dreamers!
This October, we invite you to share a musical celebration of our journey. It began ten years ago when Voices of Hope was founded by a dreamer… a man who envisioned a world without cancer. Now, just a decade later, more than 150 performers have come together to dedicate their time and talents to that same vison.
Join us for an outdoor nature walk to explore the our historic and beautiful campus and learn more about Waldorf School at Moraine Farm's nursery and kindergarten programs. Led by our early childhood teachers, this outdoor exploration provides interested and current families and students a glimpse into the joy, wonder and health giving qualities of nature-based education.
This nature walk will begin in the nursery play yard on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm., with a circle, then we will explore the field and forest.
