Waldorf School at Moraine Farm invites us for an evening of water coloring, appetizers and wine on Maraine Farm in the Great Hall. Painting scene of a New England Fall evening, will be led by Branigan Reed.
The event is organized by Heidi Zohn on behalf of the development committee. $40 includes canvas and complimentary food and beverage. All proceeds benefit Waldorf School at Moraine Farm.
A class for parents with newborns up to age 6 months. Topics covered in class include: developmental stages in babies, warmth and how to dress your baby, sleep, rhythm, foundational senses (sense of touch, well being/life, movement, balance), observation, babywearing, new identity as a parent, nursing, lullabies, and rhythmic games.
5-week program meets on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
Come to this fun storytime, music and movement playgroup at the library. Free for all families with children birth and up. No registration required. Vered is an award winning musician who brings the joys and intricacies of family life to music. Her show is fun, funny, gets everyone singing along, and sometimes will even have parents shedding an emotional tear. Inspired by her experience as a music therapist and psychotherapist, and her experience as a mom of three, Vered approaches relationships in the family with wonder, curiosity, and humor. Her music is reminiscent of a Doo-Wop band, using playful vocal harmonies, lively horns, pots and pans, and beatboxing to get everyone jumping and singing along. Inspired by The Greatest Showman’s title song, Voices of Hope’s Fall Gala, A Million Dreamswill draw on the stories of dreamers!
This October, we invite you to share a musical celebration of our journey. It began ten years ago when Voices of Hope was founded by a dreamer… a man who envisioned a world without cancer. Now, just a decade later, more than 150 performers have come together to dedicate their time and talents to that same vison.
Join us for an outdoor nature walk to explore the our historic and beautiful campus and learn more about Waldorf School at Moraine Farm's nursery and kindergarten programs. Led by our early childhood teachers, this outdoor exploration provides interested and current families and students a glimpse into the joy, wonder and health giving qualities of nature-based education.
This nature walk will begin in the nursery play yard on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm., with a circle, then we will explore the field and forest.
On Saturday, October 5, Waldorf School at Moraine Farm in Beverly will host an Open House starting at 10am where visitors will experience the value of Waldorf education for themselves.
Windows Into the World of Waldorf is an excellent way for families to experience what a Waldorf education offers, how a child learns in a Waldorf environment, and how Waldorf School at Moraine Farm differentiates from all other public and private schools in the area.
Care One at Essex Park is hosting a fundraiser and fall festical event for school-aged children and their families. All money collect atht eh event will be donated to Windrush Farm. A local nonprofit horse farm teaching physically, emotionally, and learning disabled children and adults how to ride and work with horses.
Families will enjoy a family friendly Halloween themed event. Children will enjoy games, pumpkin decorating, face painting, raffles, prizes and more. Hot dogs, old-fashionedpopcorn, make your own spooky sundae, cider and other treats too.
Shore Country Day School invites parents to attend the North Shore Secondary School Fair, held on its campus, Tuesday, September 24, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Admission Directors from 90 Independent Secondary Schools will be in attendance.
This event is free, and open to the public.
