Based on the 'What’s the Big Idea?' program created by Mother Goose Programs (Vermont Center for the Book) this story time incorporates math and science into a story time and activity to nurture curiosity and an interest in science and math! No registration required.

The story of a young girl who has been said to be able to spin straw into gold, the greedy king who locks her up until she does and the strange, magical little man, Rumplestiltskin, who appears and promises to spin the straw in return for her jewelry. The journey continues through the many adventures, twists and turns that make this unforgettable story so exciting.
A child life specialist from Care Dimensions, the largest provider of hospice, palliative care and grief-support services in Massachusetts is hosting a group cooking event for kids and teens (13-18) who have lost someone in their lives. The group will have fun cooking up tasty treats while meeting new friends.
Who: Any local youth or teen (13-18) who has lost someone in their lives.
Fee: No cost. Our grief support programs are funded through our generous donors

At Shore's Middle School Open House in November, visitors hear a presentation from the Head of School, interact with students, parents, and teachers to gain insight into what distinguishes Shore’s middle school years, and participate in fun activities. Please note: campus tours will not be offered at this event and can be scheduled separately.
Come to Beverly to Race for a great cause! All race proceeds benefit Pete's Park in Beverly named in honor of Pete Frates. The purpose of the race is to raise money for a lasting maintenance fund for Pete's Park, an inclusive, accessible park in Pete's hometown of Beverly, MA. Pete is an internationally known advocate for ALS awareness and education. And, for raising funds to #strikeoutals with the ice bucket challenge.
Trunk or Treat is a fun and safe way for families and children to enjoy Halloween! Trunk or Treaters will spend the evening going from trunk to trunk, collecting candy from vehicle owners who have decorated their vehicles to serve as the backdrop for this family friendly event. "Trunkers" are asked to decorate their trunk, tailgate, or hatchback and to provide candy to the "Treaters." Trunker registration is FREE, as is Treater participation. We will accept donations of candy from everyone! Prizes for the most festive vehicles! Rain or shine!

Welcome Autumn with a Colorful Pumpkin Made by You
Celebrate Autumn with this fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of felting. The workshop is for all skill levels. Elizabeth Stubbs, a Waldorf early childhood teacher and artist, will teach us needle felting. Everyone will bring home a handmade pumpkin. $40 workshop fee includes instruction and materials. Spend time with old friends and new, enjoy good conversation and a delightful breakfast snack.
