Appleton Farms is one of the most significant cultural and natural landscapes in American agrarian history. Our working landscape offers a diversity of learning opportunities for all ages, from soil science and habitat management to cheese making and community supported agriculture. The rich stories, rare resources, and sustainable operations, make Appleton Farms one of the finest stages in the country to showcase and teach excellence in small-scale agriculture.

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm offers summer camp and summer programs for ages 3.5 to 11. Outdoor explorers and budding artists alike will enjoy inspiring adventures throughout our Moraine Farm campus. Hands-on experiences help strengthen a personal connection to the earth and foster a sense of stewardship. All our summer camps and programs enjoy a balance of activities including outdoor exploration, nature walks, creative arts, cooking, team building exercises, sports, games, water play, songs, music, and much more.

Artists, athletes, foodies, techies, teachers and camp-loving college students form our dynamic team of camp counselors. Together, we've created six memorable weeks of summer fun, unique experiences and opportunities for creating lasting friendships.

Wildwood is a multidimensional summer program for young people ages 9 to 17 focusing on active exploration of the natural world. Wildwood also offers a special 3-day mini-camp for ages 7-8, and a family camp offering safe, quiet and natural settings for a unique family experience. Owned and operated by Mass Audubon, Wildwood is a place where friendships are formed and respect for the environment is forged. Campers arrive curious about nature and leave committed to the preservation of our natural resources.
