Considered to be one of New England's most treasured cultural and educational resources, Circus Smirkus is gearing up for the 2018 season. Registrationis open and campers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Some of the Smirkus camps fill quickly (all camps are full by early January), so apply early to guarantee a place under the Big Top.
Circus Smirkus Camps offer two-day to two-week residential sessions for ages 5 to 18 with beginning to advanced skills.
Smirkus Camp captures the magic and excitement of circus and combines it with the fun and friendship of a Vermont camp. European Big Top tents, professional circus equipment and top circus coaches.
Learn the Science of Falling Down on purpose. Practice the Ancient Art of Pie-in-the-Face. Go tumbling, ride unicycles, walk on a wire. Even learn the best way to hang upside down and throw things (that is, fly from a trapeze and juggle)! Each camp session is one or two fun-filled weeks of acrobatics, juggling, clowning, trapeze, perch, tight wire, Spanish web, unicycling, stilt-walking and more! No experience necessary, just a sincere desire to learn about circus and have lots of serious fun! It's a great way to spend summer vacation.
