Play Makers a new family enrichment center in Rowley is having a a grand opening celebration on Saturday, March 27 from 11am to 2pm.
The center offers a variety of programs for children and families in one location. The 3,000 square-foot center has a large mobility studio and specially designed child and handicap accessible cooking and art studios.
Programs currently include developmental playgroups for infants, toddlers, and young children, cooking and art classes, as well as newborn care, CPR, and infant and toddler massage classes for parents.
Owner Christine Rupp has spent the last five years establishing a child life program for an area hospital, where she advocated for the unique needs of children in the medical setting and offered support and education to families during pediatric hospital visits.
I'm always thrilled to find good developmental centers like this on the north shore.
