CyberCivics was developed by a researcher and parent who saw the need after a social media "incident" in the eighth grade at her daughter's Waldorf charter school. The curriculum is now being used by schools throughout the U.S., and internationally. Waldorf School at Moraine Farm has begun using the Cyber Civics Curriculum in middle school this year.
Learn more about a 'Slow Tech' approach to media use and experience "hands on" lessons from Cyber Civics, the in-school digital citizenship and literacy program that helps students become ethical, thoughtful, and competent digital citizens.
We are also offering a workshop, Digital Citizenship, Digital Literacy: Cyber Civics for the Middle School on Saturday, January 28 from 9am to 3pm.
