Note: Due to the impending snow storm, this performance has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 8:30pm. Classical Jam will perform a multimedia presentation with music from Brahms to the present accompanied by videos--featuring films by Buster Keaton, former Rockport resident Danny Williams (as well as a colleague of Andy Warhol in the Velvet Underground era), and one by Rockport students.
Classical Jam--a vibrant ensemble of flute, percussion, violin, viola, and cello—best known for its engaging and lively presentations with thought-provoking concert themes presenting music from the Renaissance to traditional classical works in a new way. The award-winning and internationally performing members are graduates of the Julliard School, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, New England Conservatory, and Indiana University and are teaching artists at leading educational institutions.
