Wylinn’s Wish Foundation is hosting an ICE CREAM FUN RUN on Sunday, June 4 at the Topsfield Fairgrounds. Registration will be at 9a.m. but the main event is a 5k run/walk, beginning at 11a.m., offering participants of all ages and abilities to race competitively or just enjoy the opportunity to come together for some fitness and fun. There will also be a kid’s run, providing the younger attendees with their own event. Following the race will be an after party, which will include a free ice cream cone for each participant. If you register prior to the day of the event, it is $35 for the 5k race and $20 for the kid’s fun run. Day of the race registration is $40 for the 5k race and the kid’s fun run remains the same price.
The ICE CREAM FUN RUN will support Wylinn’s Warriors in their fundraising efforts, which will benefit the JDRF Diabetes Research Foundation through the 2017 One Walk Boston. JDRF is the only global diabetes foundation with a strategic plan to end type 1 diabetes (T1D) by bringing life-changing therapies from the lab to the type 1 community.
