Marblehead Gingerbread Workshop for Kids

Kids are invited to come make their own entries for the Marblehead Gingerbread Festival!

Kids are invited to the The Marblehead Museum & Historical Society for a gingerbread workshop! Come create your own entry for the 2021 Marblehead Gingerbread Festival.  Two workshops are schedule for kids ages 2-4 (with adult) at 1pm and kids 5-10 are at 3pm.  Registration required.

2021 Marblehead Gingerbread Festival

The Marblehead Gingerbread Festival is part of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce's Christmas Walk, and the proceeds will go to benefit the Marblehead Family Fund and the Marblehead Historical Society.

Come see over 100 locally and professionally made gingerbread creations on display at the historic Jeremiah Lee Mansion in Marblehead, MA during this year's Marblehead Christmas Walk. Community members, businesses, and families are building and donating dozens of gingerbread houses, boats and local buildings that will be on display and available for raffle throughout the weekend. Days and times vary so check the times!

Annual Ryal Side 4th of July

July 4th Independence Day Celebration at Obear Park in Beverly Massachusetts

Come join us for the 87th annual old fashion Ryal Side neighborhood Fourth of July parade followed by food, field games, pony rides, and festivities at Obear Park. The parade and festivities are presented by the Ryal Side Civic Association, a tradition since 1934. This is all made possible by your fellow Ryal Siders volunteering their time and private donations.

Come to  Spencer Peirce Little Farm for a mid-winter open house and bonfire to celebrate the official purchase of the town of Newbury on January 13, 1701. As part of this community-wide event, tour the Spencer-Pierce-Little House, enjoy hot cider and donuts for sale in the visitor center, and then walk to the nearby town-sponsored bonfire fueled by Christmas trees in the growing fields of Tendercrop Farm!

The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce invites you to Marblehead to enjoy two days of holiday festivities, family events and activities!  Come for one or both days with highlights that include Santa's arrival by lobster boat,Festive shopping, Tree Lightings, a holiday parade, Artisan Markets, Gingerbread Festival, Entertainment & much more! There's all kinds of family events and activities sponsored by local merchants and organizations.

This Event has been canceled for 2021. The Essex Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the annual Essex ClamFest in Memorial Park in Essex. The highlight of the day will be the Clam Chowder Tasting, a competition that pits area restaurants against one another to determine who serves the best clam chowder on Cape Ann. Local restaurants are expected to serve up their favorite chowder recipes starting at noon and ending about 2 pm. Judges of the chowder will be announced in advance. The public will also have the opportunity to sample and vote on their favorite chowder.
