Inspired by The Greatest Showman’s title song, Voices of Hope’s Fall Gala, A Million Dreamswill draw on the stories of dreamers!
This October, we invite you to share a musical celebration of our journey. It began ten years ago when Voices of Hope was founded by a dreamer… a man who envisioned a world without cancer. Now, just a decade later, more than 150 performers have come together to dedicate their time and talents to that same vison.
This year, the Cape Ann Businesswomen's Luncheon is proud to host Keynote speaker Lindsay Crouse. Lindsay is an award-winning veteran of stage and screen. Her credentials spans a whole range of venues from broadway, to TV to Hollywood. Some of Lindsay’s best known films include All The President’s Men, Slapshot, House of Games, The Verdict, The Insider, Mr. Brooks, Indian in the Cupboard, Prince of the City, Daniel, and Places in the Heart, for which she received an Academy Award nomination.
The 26th Annual “Rubber Duck Race” hosted by the Danvers Kiwanis raises money that benefits scholarship funds for local college students. THE RACE is rain or shine, and hundreds of Rubber Ducks will be dumped into the Porter River adjacent to Popes Landing. The drama escalates, competition has begun. As the lead duck streaks towards the finish line, “Who will be the WINNER?” Join us for pre-race family-fun festivities starting at 9:00 am.
Magnolia’s 43rd Annual Road Race is a 5k Race to be held rain or shine along a beautiful, scenic route in Magnolia. A 1k Walk/Fun Run will appeal to kids and those not capable of completing the 5k. All proceeds from the races go to the Magnolia Library.
The Bridge and Back 10k is a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem . The race starts in downtown Salem Massachusetts, crosses the bridge into Beverly Massachusetts and onward to the Dane Street Beach. Runners then circle back to Salem for the finish on Front Street. Come to the Kay Ellis Memorial Fundraiser for a night of fun in Gloucester! Enjoy a sunset schooner cruise aboard the Lannon or Ardelle, followed by dinner, dessert, local music, and a pirate raffle. In 2017 & 2018, $9,000 was awarded each year to students studying Hospitality and Tourism. Join us to help support the future youth of our Cape Ann industry.
The 6th Annual Paddle for Plummer on July 13th, 2019 will be a day full of energy, stoke, fun and fitness for a fantastic cause! You don’t want to miss it! There will be over 400 participants and spectators enjoying live music, food, waterfront spinning, SUP yoga, and, of course, paddling on our beautiful waterfront property at Plummer Youth Promise in Salem, MA. Locally and internationally known sponsors and vendors will be there doing demos and supporting Plummer Youth Promise. All proceeds to the Plummer Home.

Grab your friends or family, jump in the car and head over to Plum Island for a weekend of drive-in movies to kick off this summer! All proceeds to benefit the Newburyport Youth Services scholarship funds. This showing will be Disney's Moana! An adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder.
