Horizons for Homeless Children
Horizons for Homeless Children helps children learn how to play, to share, to read, and to enjoy exploring their worlds in a structured environment. We help parents learn how to be nurturing and involved in the growth and development of their children, and help them learn and grow through job training, GED and college courses. We help to stabilize families so that they can weather any crisis, and thus help to break the cycle of homelessness that too often occurs in Massachusetts and around the world.
The Women’s Fund
In 2003 eight energetic and passionate women created The Women's Fund, a philanthropic vehicle to raise funds that support women and girls in need. Grants are directed toward programs which enhance the health, safety and educational well-being of Essex County women and girls. Since its founding, the Women’s Fund has granted over $300,000 thanks to the generosity of women all across Essex County and corporate donations.
