Learn and train at Waring Sports Skills clinics, a 5-day training clinic for soccer and lacrosse

Learn and train at Waring Sports Skills clinics, a 5-day training clinic aimed at creating well-rounded lacrosse and soccer players. Each day we will focus on improving fundamental skills, tactical vision, strength, speed, endurance and agility. Registration is by week and will run Monday-Friday from 9am-1:30pm. Pick one sport or come for both! We’ll start out with some getting to know you games and work into passing and skills tutorials. We’ll work on techniques, craft some plays, and end each day with a little skills based competition or scrimmaging. The week will end with a small tournament, and students will come away with stronger skills and better confidence on the field. Join us!

Taught By: Brad Lyman, Waring’s LAX Coach & Waring Students

The sports clinics will take place on the beautiful campus of The Waring School in Beverly, MA. We will take advantage of Waring’s 3 grass fields and indoor gymnasium.  These resources ensure that athletes will see a wide array of activities and will have a place to continue camp in the case of inclement weather.

In the mornings athletes will warm-up with agility drills as well as paired or individual skill work. We will progress into small-group exercises. After breaking for lunch we will have time to digest, socialize and relax. When we return from lunch we will utilize the morning’s skills in small and full-sided game settings. We will finish the day by cooling down, recapping the day’s coaching points and awarding prizes.

Athletes must bring their own lunch and reusable water bottle. Each player will get plenty of water throughout the day.
