Devereux School in Marblehead is pleased to offer Camp Devereux, a summer program for children ages 3 to 9. Since 1932, our young campers have enjoyed the serenity of our large private playground surrounded by trees offering natural shade.
Camp Devereux runs for 8 weeks from late June through mid August from 9am-4pm Monday through Friday.
Early drop off (8am) and late pick up (5pm) are available daily at $12 per hour.
Both full and partial weekly and daily rates are available , come for days, weeks or the whole summer!
It is a wonderful summertime environment ideal for traditional summer activities such as designing a sand castle, relaxing on a blanket, making gimp and bead jewelry, cooling down with our slip & slide, or organizing a basketball or soccer game with old and new friends alike.
Campers can also help out in the vegetable garden or observe butterflies in our newly planted butterfly patch. Campers will enjoy the use of our newly refurbished and heated pool and will receive daily swim instruction under the guidance of our two certified lifeguards. Throughout the summer we provide activities that express Devereux School’s appreciation of the arts, music, nature, yoga, gymnastics, and French.
Mme. Virginie provides French Instruction, Miss Dee serves as our art instructor, Miss Amanda runs gymnastics, Mr. Joe teaches guitar and Miss Marina provides piano lessons. Senior Devereux School staff members, Elizabeth, Paul, Stephanie, Virginie, and Kasey are all present throughout the summer and oversee and instruct our Camp Counselors and Counselors in Training, the majority of whom are former Camp Devereux campers themselves.
