Halloween on the Hill

The Trustees host a celebration of Autumn and Halloween at Long Hill Sedgewick Gardens in Beverly Massachusetts

The Trustees of Reservations invite you to tour the gardens at Long Hill Gardens in Beverly, Massachusetts to celebrate Autumn and Halloween! Come explore our beautiful property as we transform Long Hill into a celebration of autumn and the Halloween season. As always, there are a few new surprises and of course many more pumpkins this year. Follow our seasonal-themed trail that will feature over 1,000 jack-o’-lanterns, hundreds of mums, elaborate Halloween decorations, light displays, music, and more. This is the perfect Halloween event for the whole family!

Hayrides at Appleton Farms | Fridays

Hayrides at Appleton Farms in Ipswich Massachusetts are fun for the whole family!

Experience the beautiful scenery, crisp air and changing and vibrant colors of Appleton Farms in the fall as you enjoy a hayride across ths idyllic property. Rides will depart every twenty minutes between 12-4pm on weekends and 4-7pm on Fridays. Space is limited, pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

Beverly Downtown Trick or Treat

Trick or treat in Downtown Beverly Massachusetts!

Beverly Main Streets invites kids and families to Downtown Beverly for the Annual Downtown Trick or Treat event! Come Downtown Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 4-6pm for Downtown Trick-or-Treat! This event is a collaboration with the City of Beverly, and provides a fun night downtown for little ones and their families. Look for the orange flyer in windows of participating businesses, and stop in to say hi and receive a treat. Downtown Trick or Treat is held rain or shine, but please check our website and social media in case of extreme weather.

Barktoberfest

An interactive, fun festival for the entire family and for a great cause! Friendly dogs are welcome (must be leashed)! Canceled! The Trustees have partnered with the Vintage Sports Car Club of America for an exciting event featuring pre-WWII cars competing in timed races at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate. Come for the day and enjoy live music, food trucks, a bootlegger’s garden and picnicking on the lawn! Schedule a 30-minute guided Great House tour set in 1929. A Crane maid or footman will show you guest and family rooms. Advance tour reservations and additional fee are required.
